Yea, my mixes are always a step ahead, you can go back and listen to the mix i posted back in April and some of the songs are still red hot right now.

I really outdid myself last year after Gay Days in Orlando when I named that mix One-Mighty Mess… It turns out I was a year ahead of myself as I should have saved that title for this years mix after the fiasco we experienced in Orlando this year.

The One Mighty Weekend main parties that used to be on Disney Property and the highlight of many peoples weekend were all held at the Buena Vista Palace either at the pool or in the Grand Ballroom. With all due respect to the DJ’s Joe G., Abel and Ralphi and Roland Belmares who all did a great job with the terrible hand they were dealt, the parties were just that, a fiasco!

On the bright side, pretty much everyone had a good time, the Reunion Pool Parties were good, Wendy Hunt, Don Bishop and Phil B. all did a great job at those parties and Arabian Nights were extra special this year because it was the one place that everyone went to after all the competing events eaerlier in the evenings. David Knapp, Tony Moran and Peter Rauhoffer all were superb. The fire alarm at Arabian Nights even held off until the last hour of the weekend, unfortunately once it did finally go off at 7am on Monday morning, it went off 4 times in the hour from 7am-8am pretty much sucking the last breath of life out of the weekend. All in all a fun weekend for attendees I think, not necissarily a successful weekend for the promoters, I’m not really sure how they made out. I guess we will find out if they are all back again next year. Hopefully things will get back to normal.

For me it was a lot of fun, of course EVERYONE was there and it was a great chance to catch up and get to see friends from all over that I haven’t seen in weeks, or months or even years and it was a great opportunity to make some new friends, which I did and hope to see them again soon.

I managed to put this mix together over the weekend while I was holed up in my hotel room listening to the music of Wendy Hunt, Joe G., Phil B and Don Bishop, when I wasn’t down at the pool or on the dancefloor. The music was all being pumped into my room from the pool through the sliding glass door leading out to the balcony.

I’m submitting this post from Seat 20J on American Airlines flight 20 from SFO to JFK, its 10:30pm EDT 7:37pm Pacific,  we will be touching down at JFK in 53 minutes if you can believe the people over at fboweb.com, them along with GoGo wireless who provides internet acces onboard certain American Flights and google earth has me able to track my flight live in 3D from inside the airplane… at do that with I chat i can have a live video chat with anyone on the ground siting in front of their computer and you wonder why the bad guys aren’t picking planes out of the sky one after the other….. I guess if they wanted to they could probably pick them out of the sky without the tools that I am using, still it is pretty amazing the things you can do today…  Below are some of the screenshots that I am looking at from inside AAL20 which by the time this is posted ought to be about 37000 ft above Detroit, MI and about to begin our decent, guess I should pack up the computer and put the tray table away… see you on the Ground in less than one hour…

I finished this one off over White Party Weekend in Palm Springs. It had nothing to do with anything anyone played at any of the parties as I was not really impressed by anyone except for Hector Fonseca at the Sunday Morning Afterhours after the White Party. There are a lot of mash-ups in this one that I did, some older songs, a couple new ones, Some good stuff, I hope you enjoy it.

I began this one after spending Labor Day Weekend in NYC and The Fire Island Pines.  Attended Susan Morabito’s party at the Pavillion on Fire Island on Saturday Night, Alegria with Abel at Crobar Sunday night in NYC and Junior’s Labor “DAY” Party Labor Day at Spirit in NYC, and completed it after hearing Billy Carroll at Transit in Philadelphia on Sunday Morning, September 26th.  A lot of good stuff played by Susan at the Pavillion and some good Junior Vasquez stuff on this one played by both Junior and Billy… Enjoy!!
